ISABEL GOMEZ
LEVEL 1 MASTER INSTRUCTOR
President/ Co-Founder
Isabel has over 20 years of dancing ballet folklorico starting at the young age of three and taught under the direction of a well-known local instructor.
​
Her goal is to expand inclusiveness within the Reno community and provide education about Mexican culture. Her passion is to implement programs for misunderstood and disadvantaged Latinx individuals and provide an escape for them.
​
When Isabel isn't being a total boss, she spends her days with her two children and bull dog, and designing clothing and accessories.
DAMIAN GOMEZ
LEVEL 3/4 MASTER INSTRUCTOR
Vice President
Dancing since he was two years old, Damian brings a sense of sophistication when it comes to dancing ballet folklorico. Damian has 3-4 years teaching students and loves every minute of it.

"I'm currently a senior at UNR where I plan on receiving my degree in Biology and venturing on to become a Physcian's Associate; with this degree I hope to provide health services to the Latinx population."
​
"I have three dogs who I love so much. One interesting fact about me is: I also have Vitiligo which I've had since I was eight."
BRIAN VASQUEZ
Director
Brian joined BFFC because of his strong desire and passion to work closely with the Latinx population. His role is to manage staff and volunteers as well as run day-to-day operations.
​
He is currently working on receiving his Master of Social Work degree which he plans on using to work with the Latinx and Autism populations in locating resources for education, mental health assistance, and other services.

VERONICA GOMEZ
Co-Founder/ Director of Costuming
The Mama of BFFC, Doña Vero is an expert when it comes to ballet folklorico. She has designed many costumes, outfits, and accessories for many of BFFC's performances and special events.
​
As Director of Costuming, Vero is in charge of receiving and ordering costumes and making sure they are in perfect condition before each performance.
​
When Vero isn't designing dresses, she's sewing and designing other things for her friends and family, and snuggling with her St. Bernard Nana.
MELISSA CAMARGO
LEVEL 2 MASTER INSTRUCTOR
Artistic Director/ Master Instructor
As Artistic Director, Melissa ensures that each Folklorista is looking great and teaches them footwork/ dances.
​
She has over 20 years of experience dancing ballet folklorico and has known Isabel and Damian since 2001 where they danced side by side. She currently teaches Intermediate and ages 13-17 year old Folkloristas.
​
"One interesting thing about me is: I have a four year old son who I hope will dance with me in the future."
